About The Position
University Home Care Inc is hiring a Field Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes in Oakland, MI. The nurse will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and provide personalized care that supports patients’ health, safety, and well-being. Interviews will take place at the company’s office in Livonia. Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Kinnser.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Oakland, MI.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care in patients’ homes, including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring chronic conditions.
- Educate patients and families about disease management, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
- Document nursing interventions and patient progress accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
