About The Position

The Field Property Claims Adjuster helps customers navigate claims and recover after damage to their homes. The role involves traveling locally to insured homes in Lannon, Wisconsin (53046), and surrounding areas to assess property damage in person and provide customer support. Candidates should live within or near the assigned territory. Most workdays are spent in the field, with occasional desk-based assignments. The adjuster handles moderate to complex claims independently from first notice of loss through final closure, investigates coverage and damage issues, and prepares repair estimates for covered damage. This may involve accessing roofs by ladder and inspecting attics, crawl spaces, and basements. The role also explains coverage, helps policyholders itemize damages and arrange emergency repairs or additional living arrangements, and coordinates vendor services. The position includes a comprehensive five-month training program consisting primarily of virtual and on-the-job learning, plus two short in-person sessions at the Lewisville, Texas office during weeks four and seven. Limited overnight travel for training and team meetings is typically less than 10%. Mileage is reimbursed, and employees may qualify for a company-provided vehicle after meeting mileage requirements. A sign-on bonus is available for experienced, actively licensed new hires. The adjuster may be called upon for catastrophe duty.
