About The Position

The Field Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective coordination and resolution of field-related project issues. This role oversees pre-erection planning, site coordination, and daily operations to support safe and efficient project execution. The position plays a key role in maintaining project schedules, managing field activities, and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders. SAFETY IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY. Requirements

  • Bachelor�s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction certification required
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, particularly precast erection
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of welding details and procedures
  • Proficiency in coordinating field operations and subcontractors
  • Valid driver�s license and ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate pre-erection planning, including site surveys and preparation activities
  • Manage daily delivery logistics of precast materials to job sites
  • Collaborate with general contractors, erection subcontractors, and engineers on as-built requirements
  • Attend planning meetings to understand scope, timelines, and erection requirements
  • Identify project milestones and proactively address potential scheduling challenges
  • Establish and communicate project guidelines, including erection sequence and lifting procedures
  • Coordinate crane operations, rigging procedures, and critical lift planning
  • Review project plans and execution strategies with field crews and foremen
  • Ensure erection crews follow established plans and safety protocols
  • Serve as a technical resource for erection-related questions and field execution
  • Communicate scope changes that may impact cost or schedule
  • Oversee field repairs and coordinate patching activities as needed
