About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Field Operations Engineer to configure security systems, including IP cameras and servers, and IT networks that support perimeter countermeasures. The role supports network topology and infrastructure, including camera, cabling, and conduit installation, to enable security devices to communicate. It also configures security devices to operate to customer specifications and assists in developing custom solutions using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment for high-security, high-threat customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
• Demonstrated experience configuring and administering CCTV, access control, perimeter/residential/commercial intrusion detection, and intercom systems.
• Demonstrated experience installing and configuring fiber-optic networks, including switches, routers, and wireless systems.
• Ability to understand and implement accepted industry standards and methodologies for information technology/networking, structural, electrical, and infrastructure cabling.
• Active Secret security clearance at a minimum and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
