About The Position

Sparkle Squad’s Charleston team is seeking a hands-on Field Operations Lead to manage day-to-day field operations as the business grows. The lead works as a senior technician approximately 70% of the week and manages operational duties during the remaining time, including scheduling and dispatch, quality control, training, and preparing crews and equipment. The role also gives the owners more time to focus on sales and growth. The office is on Johns Island.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in window cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, gutter cleaning, or a related trade.
• At least 1 year leading a crew as a crew lead, foreman, or supervisor.
• Comfort working on ladders and roofs and outdoors in all weather.
• Comfort using a phone or tablet and scheduling apps.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; the role involves driving company vans and towing trailers.
• Clear, professional communication with customers and teammates.

• Experience with soft-wash chemistry.
• Experience with water-fed poles.
• Lift certification.
• Holiday lighting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform window cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, gutter cleaning, and holiday lighting installation jobs.
• Manage larger commercial jobs onsite, including multi-day projects.
• Schedule commercial work and adjust the call center’s residential schedule when needed to reduce drive time.
• Conduct quality walk-throughs and spot checks, and address the causes of callbacks.
• Train and coach new technicians through the onboarding program and career ladder.
• Prepare vans, equipment, chemicals, and materials for daily work.
• Lead safety on every job and stop work when conditions are not right.
• Represent the company professionally with homeowners and property managers.
