We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of nurse case manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing specific cases entrusted to them related to patient reimbursement and coordinating cases with the company's NavieGo department. The bilingual case manager nurse will be responsible for the overall management of patient cases and will act as a single point of contact for the healthcare providers designated to them. Requirements

  • Bilingualism - English/French - is an asset
  • Registered Nurse designation and current provincial licensing is required
  • Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer/client service and health care reimbursement experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications (Google apps, Word, Excel)
  • Professional/courteous/efficient telephone manner
  • Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multi-task in order to meet various competing work deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Able to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, supporting various regions of Canada

  • Avoir le titre professionnel d’infirmier(ère) autorisé(e) ou d’infirmier(ère) auxiliaire autorisé(e) et un permis provincial valide est exigé.
  • Avoir de l’expérience dans le secteur des soins de santé, l’industrie pharmaceutique ou le secteur des assurances est un atout.
  • Avoir au moins deux (2) ans d’expérience en service à la clientèle et une expérience en remboursement des soins de santé.
  • Posséder une solide maîtrise des applications de Microsoft et Google (Google Apps, Word, Excel).
  • Faire preuve de professionnalisme, de courtoisie et d’efficacité lors des appels téléphoniques.
  • Avoir la capacité éprouvée d’organiser son horaire, d’établir l’ordre des priorités, et d’exécuter plusieurs tâches à la fois afin de respecter les diverses échéances concurrentes.
  • Posséder d’excellentes compétences en communication et faire preuve d’entregent.
  • Être capable de travailler seul et au sein d’une équipe.
  • Être capable de régler des problèmes de façon efficace et efficiente.
  • Posséder une aptitude à la pensée critique et à la résolution de problèmes.
  • Pouvoir travailler sur des quarts rotatifs du lundi au vendredi pour appuyer diverses régions du Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the entire coordination of the patient journey
  • Occasional travel for on-site clinic visits
  • Acting as the Primary point of contact for physicians to enroll patients into a NavieGo managed program
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong, trusting relationship with assigned clinics and physicians including site visits
  • Acting as the main resource for NavieGo to request missing or additional information from respective physician offices, pharmacies, and/or other Health Care providers
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects required in order to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients
  • Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician' offices and healthcare professionals in order to assist a patient in their journey on treatment
  • Coordinate documents, submissions and all related paperwork to insurance companies and public funding programs
  • Coordinate clinic appointments and drug deliveries within timelines
  • Foster and build relationships with patients and key health care providers
  • Implement best practices as required in an effort to maximize a patient's access to drug coverage
  • Coordinate with pharmacy processes required once funding has been obtained
  • Apply an in-depth knowledge of public / private funding systems
  • Able to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, covering the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM EST

  • Coordonner les documents, les soumissions et toute la documentation connexe aux compagnies d’assurance et aux programmes de financement publics.
  • Coordonner les rendez-vous à la clinique et la délivrance des médicaments dans les délais appropriés.
  • Établir et renforcer des liens avec les patients et les fournisseurs de soins clés.
  • Appliquer les pratiques exemplaires telles que requises afin de maximiser la couverture des médicaments pour le patient.
  • Coordonner avec les processus pharmaceutiques nécessaires une fois le financement accordé.
  • Appliquer ses connaissances approfondies des systèmes de financement publics et privés.
  • Effectuer d’autres fonctions et tâches selon les besoins.
