CLYDESDALE HOLDING DBA CALIBER CAR WASH•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

Caliber Car Wash was founded in 2018 in Atlanta, GA. The goal of the founders was to build a “best in class” car wash company with a focus on improving the customer experience. Today, the company operates with 64 locations throughout the southeast US and Texas. The company has a projected growth to 100+ Stores in the next 3 years! Caliber is dedicated to the communities they serve through superior customer service. If you are a solutions-oriented, proactive, service industry leader, seeking an opportunity with a growing organization that cares about its people; we need to talk! Our Purpose Caliber exists to Improve People’s Lives by providing career opportunities and professional growth to our team members and by providing exceptional service worth our customer’s loyalty. Role Summary The Field Marketing Specialist is an on-site marketing generalist who keeps marketing running at store level and in the field: coordination, organic social, signage and in-store execution, and local store marketing. Reports to the VP, Marketing; executes on the ground while Creative, CRM, and paid own their lanes. Works in person at Atlanta-area stores and digitally supports and coordinates activations for all Caliber locations. This role exists to make marketing easier for the field, not to add to its workload. Success means district and site managers trust marketing, call marketing when something happens, and see results at their stores. The ideal candidate has experience running grassroots and local store marketing for a multi-unit retail or service brand; is hands-on, detail-oriented, and operator-minded; and expects to spend real time in the field working with field operations teams. Car wash may not be the first industry that comes to mind for a marketing career, and that is exactly the opportunity. Express car wash is a fast-growing, membership-driven business built on the same subscription model that powers streaming, software, and fitness brands. In this role, you’ll see firsthand how recurring revenue works: acquiring members, converting single-wash customers, and reducing churn, all measured store by store. Few early-career roles combine hands-on local marketing with subscription business experience, and both skill sets carry into any industry you choose next.

Requirements

  • Degree not required, but a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field is preferred. In its place, relevant experience, creativity, and curiosity carry equal weight.
  • 1–3 years of field, local, retail, or multi-unit marketing experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a multi-unit, high-growth environment preferred.
  • Car wash, QSR, or retail operations experience is a bonus.
  • Creative and curious: brings fresh ideas and is eager to learn what works at each site and why.
  • Operator-minded: understands, or is eager to learn, what moves a site (cars per day, membership conversion, churn, weather, staffing) and how much a marketing ask means to a busy site team.
  • Field partnership: builds trust with district and site managers; translates needs into action and prioritizes well.
  • Generalist range & organization: owns many small tasks without dropping details; manages multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eye for design: knows what looks right and on-brand, from signage and merchandising to social content and creative direction, and spots what’s offat a site and gets it fixed.
  • AI-assisted: uses AI tools where appropriate to move faster (project management, admin, first drafts, and creative brainstorming, but never the final product).
  • Effective communicator: collaborates across all levels of the organization; is proactive and comfortable sharing opinions in group settings.
  • Understands concept-to-impact: takes an idea from first concept through execution to measurable results, and can point to activations, events, or programs they’ve led in any educational, community, or business setting.

Responsibilities

  • Drive local store marketing and grassroots activation that lifts store traffic.
  • Leverage a trade-area profile for each store (schools, employers, apartments, competitors, events) and turn it into activity: fundraisers with schools, teams, and nonprofits; affinity program activations; business, apartment, and other local partnerships; and community events.
  • Work from a ready-to-use play menu designed around the situational needs of individual car wash locations.
  • Diagnose before prescribing, prioritize stores by need rather than spreading effort evenly, and measure through predetermined KPIs and store-level lift.
  • Own store-level marketing execution across signage, merchandising, and promotions.
  • Coordinate signage needs from a catalog; manage promo swaps, new-store and refresh rollouts, POS screen content, digital menus / reader boards, in-store merchandising, and store audits to ensure campaigns are live and accurate.
  • Creatively produce organic social and community content as needed.
  • Coordinate field marketing requests and cross-functional follow-through.
  • Serve as the marketing intake point for district and site managers.
  • Turn field signals into action and close the loop on every request.
  • Coordinate with Creative, CRM, paid media, Ops, IT, vendors, and webstore partners.
