About The Position

Pei Wei Asian Kitchen is seeking recent college graduates for a two-month paid field marketing contract assignment, with potential for full-time employment as a Field Marketing Specialist based on performance. The role provides hands-on experience in marketing, business development, community outreach, and catering sales while representing the Pei Wei brand. Most work takes place in the field, visiting local businesses, restaurants, and community partners to build relationships, introduce new customers to Pei Wei, generate catering opportunities, and help grow restaurant sales. The position pays $30 per hour for an approximately 40-hour work week. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and are not eligible for employee benefits during the contract assignment.

Requirements

• Recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Comfortable approaching strangers, entering businesses unannounced, and starting conversations with potential partners.
• Able to communicate value, build relationships, and explore business opportunities without being discouraged by rejection.
• Able to take initiative, work independently, and stay productive without constant supervision.
• Able to communicate effectively, follow through on commitments, and manage multiple priorities.
• Must reside within or near the assigned market.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the market required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with local businesses, schools, hotels, hospitals, offices, and community organizations to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
• Generate catering leads through business outreach, relationship-building, and local partnership development.
• Execute grassroots marketing initiatives, including sampling events, sponsorships, community events, and local promotions.
• Partner with restaurant leadership to identify opportunities to increase traffic, attract new guests, and grow sales.
• Support new restaurant openings, menu launches, and promotional activations.
• Track outreach activities, follow up on leads, and measure results, including catering growth and sales impact.
• Represent Pei Wei professionally and deliver a positive brand experience in every interaction.
