PURPOSE OF POSITION: This pivotal role is focused on elevating Capriotti’s to the forefront of the sandwich industry in Reno/Carson City by outpacing the competition through bold, innovative marketing strategies, seamless collaboration with our Director of Operations, and drive traffic, build brand loyalty, and solidify our reputation as the ultimate sandwich destination. MUST HAVES: Must be confident, articulate, and comfortable speaking directly to customers about our brand and locations. Must have the ability to recommend and execute new ideas and creative activations to drive traffic and sales for Reno-areas shops. Must be able to effectively present new ideas to the Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations, based on your findings in the field. Must be highly motivated and accountable for delivering tangible results. Must have a flexible schedule that can support events that may arise outside of normal business hours (i.e. Community events on the weekend, evening promotions, etc.). Requirements

  • Strong local marketing, and community engagement experience preferably in restaurant marketing.
  • Strong preference for candidates with a deep familiarity of the Reno community.
  • Must be a self-starter who is comfortable interacting and connecting with customers and members of the community.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and analytics to measure and improve campaign success.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with general managers and leadership.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to craft unique, market-dominating campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management, email marketing, analytics).

Responsibilities

  • LSM Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and execute market-wide and store-specific marketing plans to increase customer loyalty and brand preference.
  • Drive catering and in-store sales through strategic outreach, events, and partnerships.
  • Create PR opportunities by building relationships with local media, influencers, and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with general managers to ensure consistent and impactful local marketing execution and supported by the stores.
  • Monitor and optimize marketing performance using data-driven insights to maximize ROI.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and overall marketing efforts.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including project plans, timelines, status updates, and reports to track progress and measure success.
  • Define and achieve metrics for traffic growth and catering sales.
