About The Position

Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service, aiming to provide access to food, medicine, and essential goods globally. They design, build, and operate autonomous logistics systems, having completed millions of deliveries across four continents. Their system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back, with over 140 million commercial autonomous miles flown. The company seeks practical problem solvers motivated by building systems with meaningful impact. The Field Marketing Manager will lead Zipline’s on-the-ground marketing efforts in the Phoenix metro area, their newest market. This role focuses on brand, community, and growth, owning the strategy and execution of localized campaigns to generate excitement about Zipline drone delivery and its community impact. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional partners in marketing, operations, and communications to establish Zipline as a household name in Phoenix.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in field, experiential, or event marketing.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute local campaigns that drive measurable impact.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities — you thrive working with diverse stakeholders.
  • A self-starter mentality with comfort operating in a fast-moving, startup environment.
  • Passion for Zipline’s mission and curiosity about how technology can improve real-world outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive field marketing plan tailored to Phoenix that aligns with national brand and growth priorities.
  • Plan and manage regional events, partnerships, and activations that showcase Zipline’s impact and engage target audiences.
  • Collaborate with key local partners to co-create programs that amplify Zipline’s presence and highlight shared impact stories.
  • Launch creative activations, pop-ups, and demo events to bring the Zipline experience to life for consumers and stakeholders.
  • Build and nurture a network of passionate Zipline advocates — from customers to community champions — who share our story and mission.
  • Measure program performance, report outcomes, and continuously refine tactics based on results.
  • Partner with the central marketing, comms, and ops teams to ensure consistency and scalability.
