About The Position

We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Field Marketing Manager to execute multi-channel field marketing programs that accelerate demand and pipeline within a defined SLED territory. This role is responsible for the tactical delivery of ABM plays, executive engagement programs, partner co-marketing, regional digital, content activation, pipeline acceleration, and events supporting State & Local Government, Higher Education, and K-12 customers. This is an individual contributor role that requires strong project management, a willingness to roll up sleeves, and the ability to operate within playbooks while bringing local market insights back to the team. The right candidate has solid experience executing B2B field marketing programs, a multi-channel mindset, a track record of partnering effectively with regional sales teams, and the ability to adapt corporate programs for local relevance. Experience supporting public sector, education, or technology-focused sales teams is highly desirable.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of B2B field marketing experience in a technology company.
  • Proven track record executing multi-channel field marketing programs that drive measurable pipeline.
  • Experience marketing to State & Local Government, Higher Education, or K-12 customers.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Experience partnering with sales teams and aligning marketing to territory goals.
  • Solid understanding of ABM, executive engagement, and modern field marketing tactics.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt corporate programs for local market relevance without compromising brand or message consistency.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on field marketing.
  • Experience supporting public sector, higher education, K-12, or technology-focused organizations preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in IT services, managed services, or technology channel environments.
  • Familiarity with ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase), marketing automation (Pardot), and CRM (Salesforce).
  • Experience supporting partner co-marketing and MDF programs.
  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity; able to work autonomously within a defined territory while staying aligned to the broader team.
  • Knowledge of public sector and education buying cycles preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute multi-channel field marketing programs within the territory, including ABM plays, executive engagement, partner co-marketing, regional digital, content activation, pipeline acceleration, and events targeting State & Local Government agencies, Higher Education institutions, and K-12 organizations.
  • Adapt and localize corporate campaign assets and messages for the regional market, ensuring local relevance without sacrificing brand or message consistency.
  • Operate within playbooks and frameworks, contributing field insights back to inform evolution.
  • Serve as the strategic marketing partner and translate territory priorities into programs, content, and campaigns that advance deals and win business across the SLED market.
  • Participate in territory planning, sales QBRs, and account team meetings.
  • Support sales with account-based plays, executive engagement prep, and deal-specific follow-up.
  • Own territory-level pipeline contribution targets (marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced).
  • Drive net-new opportunity generation, customer expansion and acceleration of existing deals through targeted programs and engagement that support sales.
  • Track, measure, and report on program performance. Accute focus on leads generated, pipeline created, deal acceleration impact, and program ROI.
  • Use data to optimize program mix and investment within the territory.
  • Execute 1:few and 1:many ABM plays in partnership with sales and demand gen.
  • Support roundtables, CIO/CISO forums, and customer events (logistics, invitations, follow-up).
  • Co-execute joint programs with regional technology partners; coordinate MDF deployment with the Partner Marketing team.
  • Run geo-targeted campaigns (paid, email, social) that supplement corporate efforts.
  • Localize and amplify content for the region (verticals, geographies, public sector use cases, education success stories, and customer outcomes).
  • Execute regional events, executive dinners, industry conferences, trade shows, workshops, customer meetups, and higher education or government-focused programs as one tactic within the broader mix, with clear ROI criteria and pipeline attribution.
  • Support Presidio's participation in strategic SLED industry events including state technology conferences, digital government summits, EDUCAUSE, NASCIO, and other public sector and education programs.
  • Work with Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, SDR’s, Partner Marketing, Alliance teams, and other marketing partners to ensure coordinated execution.
  • Share regional insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends back to corporate teams.
  • Manage MDF budgets, vendors, and logistics within defined guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate reporting in CRM and marketing automation systems.
  • Ensure consistent brand execution across all field programs.
