About The Position

The Field Marketing Manager Flow Cytometry Southeastern North America is responsible in executing localized marketing strategies and campaigns within a specific region, directly contributing to demand generation and sales growth for clinical and research flow cytometry. You will be responsible for adapting global marketing programs for regional relevance, managing local events, providing direct support to the sales team, and fostering relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). This role requires a hands-on approach to market activation and a strong ability to collaborate with sales, marketing program management, and other cross-functional teams to achieve commercial objectives and drive regional success. This position reports to the Head of Field Marketing Flow Cytometry Americas and is part of the Marketing department and will be fully remote in the southeast U.S.

Requirements

  • A university degree in Life Sciences, or a related scientific/medical field.
  • Understanding of the clinical and research flow cytometry market in North America.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated experience in field marketing or sales, specifically within the Life Science, Pharma, or Diagnostics industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direct sales support and deliver compelling product presentations.
  • The position requires candidates to maintain their primary residence in the Southeastern United States due to business needs and regional responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel – the position requires up to 40% travel, potentially with overnight stays, for local events, customer visits, or regional partner engagements within the Life Science, Pharma, and Diagnostics ecosystem.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in utilizing project management tools, marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketo, project management tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience working closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Responsibilities

  • Execute localized market action plans, adapting global or regional marketing campaigns and materials for specific territories to ensure cultural and linguistic relevance.
  • Plan, organize, and execute local events, workshops, seminars, and tradeshow participation from conception through completion, ensuring effective lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Provide direct marketing support to the local Sales team, including preparing tailored materials, delivering compelling small-scale product presentations and demonstrations, assisting with lead follow-up, and supporting deal cycles.
  • Identify, build, and nurture relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers to drive regional advocacy and gather valuable market insights relevant to our scientific and medical fields.
  • Gather and report crucial local market insights, competitive activities, and customer feedback from the field to inform broader marketing and sales strategies.
