We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Field IT Technician based in the Long Island area to support a growing multi-site medical practice throughout Long Island and the greater Tri-State region (NY, NJ, CT). This role is primarily focused on onsite field support across our medical offices—maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and improving the physical technology environments at each location. Our offices currently require significant hands-on IT attention, including replacing aging computers, upgrading existing PCs, cleaning up infrastructure, organizing wiring, improving network closets, repairing printers, and ensuring each site operates efficiently and reliably. While our centralized help desk team handles most remote phone support, this position will assist with overflow help desk issues when needed. However, the primary responsibility is being out in the field, visiting offices, assessing needs, fixing problems, and proactively improving each location’s technology setup. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys physical, hands-on IT work, likes solving real-world technical problems onsite, and takes pride in making messy environments organized, functional, and reliable. This is a field-first IT role focused on improving and maintaining the real-world technology environments across our medical offices. The majority of the job involves traveling to locations, repairing equipment, upgrading aging systems, organizing infrastructure, and ensuring every office stays operational and efficient. If you enjoy being out in the field, working with your hands, solving hardware problems, and making technology work better in practical environments, this role is a great fit.
