About The Position

We are seeking detail-oriented Field IT Deployment Technicians for a high-priority, 3-4 week modernization project. You will be responsible for upgrading "Smart Display" status modules on mobile medical carts (GCX/JACO EVO models) across various hospital campuses. This role requires a blend of hands-on mechanical assembly and software/network configuration. Travel is a requirement for this role. Technicians will be assigned to various hospital sites within the network across Central South and West Florida.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on technical support experience (field work, hardware repair, or desktop support).
• Reliable Transportation: Mandatory for travel to the listed city locations.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfort connecting to various Wi-Fi SSIDs, navigating web-based admin portals, and uploading configuration files.
• Technicians must provide their own Phillips head screwdriver and scissors/wire cutters.
• Ability to work discreetly and efficiently in a patient-care environment.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (including for marijuana)
• Be able to pass a level 3 background check

Responsibilities

• Hardware Installation: Perform physical swaps of status modules on medical carts using basic hand tools.
• Install ferrites and manage internal cabling (eLocks, battery data, and power).
• Device Serialization: Access the module's firmware via a laptop to manually input cart-specific serial and model numbers.
• Cloud Provisioning: Log into the METRIQ™ Fleet Management Dashboard to download configuration files and sync the new hardware to the hospital's Wi-Fi network.
• Quality Control: Verify that the module display reflects real-time battery health and that the Wi-Fi connectivity indicator is successfully synced.
