Field Interviewers are responsible for traveling frequently to selected locations to recruit study participants, making in-person contact with selected respondents to discuss the study, answer questions, and obtain participation. They collect confidential information and administer standardized questionnaires, while independently managing administrative duties such as participating in conference calls and completing online trainings. The role also involves transmitting data as scheduled, assuming full and legal responsibility for project-issued equipment, safeguarding participant incentives and project materials, carefully tracking all participant incentives, and submitting timely and accurate Time & Expense reports. Field Interviewers attend virtually scheduled meetings with the project team and debrief meetings to provide feedback for methodological improvements. This position involves physical demands such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, and transporting equipment weighing 15 pounds or more, and requires maintaining adequate and timely communication with all project staff.
