About The Position

The Field Installer executes metal installations on-site in accordance with Kovach’s standards. The role requires punctuality, attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and proactive use of required tools. The installer is expected to review completed work for quality, communicate safety concerns and potential problems to the Supervisor, work productively with the team, and continually develop knowledge of Kovach’s scope of work. The position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, and climbing at active construction sites, including outdoor conditions and potentially high noise levels. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and have the manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment. Prior metal installation experience is preferred.

Requirements

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols in a construction environment.
Dependable mode of transportation.
Work boots are mandatory.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Arrive at the job site promptly at the start time indicated by the Supervisor.
Regularly review completed work to ensure it meets Kovach’s quality standards.
Follow Kovach’s safety protocols and job-site-specific requirements, report injuries, and immediately communicate safety concerns to the Supervisor.
Work hard, productively, and efficiently.
Follow directions and communicate effectively.
Identify and report potential problems to the Supervisor.
Look out for fellow employees on-site and promote a team-first environment.
Take initiative and continually build knowledge and understanding of Kovach’s scope of work.
