About The Position

The Field Inspector (Level 3) performs inspections for multi-channel products. The role uses the iInspector application to collect information and capture quality images for various equipment and inspection types. It requires proficient equipment-operator experience, a comprehensive understanding of common and specialized equipment, and professional communication with sales staff and external customers. The inspector interacts daily with Inspection Liaisons and other regional inspectors to prioritize work as part of a team. This is a remote-based position with regional travel to job sites as needed. Employees primarily work within their home area and occasionally travel to nearby locations, mostly by car. Overnight stays are required for multi-day projects or assignments farther from home. Ideally, candidates reside within a 30-mile radius of Frederick, Maryland.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in a related equipment industry environment.

Responsibilities

Use the iInspector application to complete inspections for various equipment and inspection product types.
Coordinate and/or perform tasks to prepare equipment for inspection.
Create strategic routes to improve efficiency for remote inspections.
Select appropriate inspection checklists for unique equipment types to support content accuracy.
Assess equipment condition and provide thorough descriptions.
Upgrade or downgrade inspection types to align with equipment condition when warranted.
Communicate about and resolve equipment identification and readiness issues.
Navigate and resolve technical concerns related to the iInspector application and inspection content processing.
Organize daily tasks to support effective sale processing for multi-channel products.
Act as a lead onsite coordinator for large remote sales and mentor junior-level inspectors.
Support auction-day activities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
