About The Position
SDMyers is seeking Field Inspection Technicians to join their growing field team in Lafayette, LA. In this role, the technician will inspect energized transformers and collect oil samples that are shipped to their lab in Northeast Ohio. This position is essential for keeping the power grid running smoothly, and the company provides a paid, 8-week training program for all new hires.
Requirements
- Ability to travel weekly (Monday–Friday), home on weekends
- Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a physical and drug screen
- Independence, integrity, and initiative
- Ability to pass Hair Follicle drug test and BG check
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical or electrical experience preferred
