The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding assistant coach to coach the field hockey team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.
Requirements
- CPR certified
- NFHS concussion course completed
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience in the coaching field hockey
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Coach the team they are assigned to.
- Assume the duties of the head coach when the head coach is not present.
- Assist in coaching at practices and games.
- Implement practice plans.
- Oversee scouting of opposition.
- Be a liaison between the captains and the head coach.
- Coordinate with the athletic office on rosters, awards, and medical issues.
