About The Position

The YMCA at Franklin is hiring a Part-time Field/Gym Facilitator. This role is for individuals passionate about youth sports and creating a positive environment for kids and families. The facilitator will help bring youth sports programs to life by ensuring facilities, equipment, and activities are safe, fun, and welcoming. They will also build positive relationships with volunteer coaches, parents, and participants, promote the YMCA's core values, oversee game and practice operations, and support the YMCA team.

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 16
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A positive attitude and strong communication skills to engage with diverse groups.
• Ability to stay organized, handle multiple tasks, and resolve conflicts professionally.
• New Hire Orientation (before your first shift).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED (within 30 days of hire).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with YMCA sports programs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facilities, equipment, and activities are safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone.
• Build positive relationships with volunteer coaches, parents, and participants.
• Promote the YMCA’s core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
• Oversee game and practice operations while maintaining a risk-free environment.
• Support the YMCA team by attending meetings, training sessions, and other duties as needed.
