Requirements
- Ability to operate telescope forklifts
- Ability to read installation assembly drawings.
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs., crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work for long hours
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand company safety policies and procedures and enforce compliance
- Ensure equipment is safe and reliable in order to reduce equipment downtime and ensure schedules are met
- Demonstrate ambition to develop personal skills for further advancement
- Connect rigging to hoist assemblies in place
- Unload assemblies
- Operate tools such as grinders, saws and drills
- Install bolted connections
- Communicate with Foreman on daily tasks
- Measure and layout work
- Assemble components per assembly drawings
- Direct equipment operators including crane operators
- Operate telescoping forklift
- Work directly with Field Supervisor to plan upcoming week
