About The Position

Reports to: Field Installation Foreman Position Summary: Install Aluminum Storefront, Curtainwall, Misc. Areas of Accountability: Learn and understand company safety policies and procedures and enforce compliance Ensure equipment is safe and reliable in order to reduce equipment downtime and ensure schedules are met Demonstrate ambition to develop personal skills for further advancement Connect rigging to hoist assemblies in place Unload assemblies Operate tools such as grinders, saws and drills Install bolted connections Communicate with Foreman on daily tasks Measure and layout work Assemble components per assembly drawings Direct equipment operators including crane operators Operate telescoping forklift Work directly with Field Supervisor to plan upcoming week

Requirements

Ability to operate telescope forklifts
HS diploma or equivalent
Ability to read installation assembly drawings
Have a valid driver’s license
Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time
lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

climb a ladder
be able to work for long hours

Responsibilities

Unload assemblies
Operate tools such as grinders, saws and drills

Measure and layout work
Assemble components per assembly drawings
Direct equipment operators including crane operators
Operate telescoping forklift
Work directly with Field Supervisor to plan upcoming week
