About The Position

Field Exam is the focal point for controlling risk and disseminating information gained from onsite examination of Pathward’s Working Capital Clients. The role uses its underlying strengths to educate, strategize with, and continually mentor those involved in the field exam process. The Field Examiner Senior represents Pathward at client and prospective client locations to review records and assets, verify collateral positions and financial information, and assess client performance and reporting. The role also communicates with the Credit Department, prepares reports and recommendations, and schedules and tracks examinations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
Typically, 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Represent the company at client and prospective client locations to physically review client records and assets, verify collateral position, and confirm the accuracy of financial information and reporting.
Review and analyze the performance of client collateral.
Verify the accuracy of client recordkeeping.
Verify and analyze client reporting to the Bank and, if requested, reconcile it to the Bank's records.
Verify that facilities are managed in adherence with the approved client narrative.
Perform survey exams at prospective borrower locations.
Perform exams and workout transactions, and recommend exit strategies to senior management.
Spread and analyze client financial statements to assess financial performance and cash flow.
Communicate regularly with the Credit Department before, during, and after field exams.
Prepare clear and concise written reports summarizing results and recommendations.
Schedule audits with clients.
Track time spent at client locations to ensure proper billing to the client.
Perform other duties as assigned.
