Field Evaluations Engineer - Los Angeles

This role involves conducting on-site engineering evaluations to assist regulatory authorities in determining product compliance, leading to the approval of installations. The evaluation process includes reviewing documentation, performing visual and mechanical inspections, assessing suitability for installation according to adopted codes like the National Electrical Code, conducting relevant testing, and preparing engineering reports. Requirements
- Engineering/technology degree from an accredited university.
- Expert knowledge of Building Codes, NEC, Field evaluations, conformity Standards, and the NEC.
- Knowledge of NSF Food Safety Standards.
- Demonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts to complex, new, or modified products in the field.
- Experience with the utilization of Electrical Test Equipment.
- Experience conducting electrical tests on products.
- A working knowledge of industry issues, needs, and problems.
- Eight years of directly related experience.
Responsibilities
