Intern - Field Engineer
About The Position
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking an intern Field Engineer to work in its corporate office in Tampa, Florida. The role supports the Project Engineer and Project Manager with planning, organizing, and completing projects within an assigned area of responsibility. Duties may include reviewing project plans and contractor bids, helping maintain a safe and clean working environment, data entry, and assisting with daily project management and engineering tasks. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with and assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager with planning, organization, and project completion within an assigned area of responsibility.
- Review project plans and confer with management.
- Review bids from contractors.
- Help maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform data entry.
- Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with daily tasks and duties.
