Lockheed Martin is seeking a Field Engineer to maintain, adjust, isolate, remove, and replace faulty hardware on Operational Flight Trainers (WSTs) and Avionics Desk-Top Trainers (AVDTTs) that support the Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) training program. The role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various trainer components including host computers, image generators, visual displays, input/output systems, electric/hydraulic control loading and motion systems, computer networks, and associated electronics. The candidate will be responsible for reporting and documenting all hardware system actions, performing operational checkouts and preventive maintenance, and completing On-the-Job (OJT) training requirements. Additionally, the role requires completing maintenance data collection records, supporting modifications to trainers, and adhering to all site safety and security policies. The position emphasizes quality, pride, ownership, and strong attention to detail in all tasks.
