Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related degree.
• Strong work ethic — willing to do what it takes to get the job done. This position will require more than 40 hours/week.
• Ability to travel and relocate as business requires
• Experience with leadership in some capacity
• Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help ensure that nobody gets hurt
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future
• Regular, reliable attendance
• Work productively and meet deadlines timely
• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
• Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
• Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
• May work at various different locations and conditions may vary

• Infrastructure/Heavy Civil project experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Introduced to a variety of office and field activities as well as estimating in order to develop understanding of construction.
• Work with shop drawings.
• Work with submittmittals.
• Work with schedules.
• Work with take offs.
• Work with pay requests.
• Work with contract changes.
• Work with project documentation.
• Report into a Field Engineer or Project Engineer.
• Work with crews and other office personnel.
• Have a role on the front-lines of the most important projects we build.
