Field Engineer II - Information Solutions (Midlands)
About The Position
The Field Engineer II reports to the Team Leader, Field Engineering Services, and supports MUSC’s academic, research, and healthcare missions. Under indirect supervision, this role performs operational, consultative, and collaborative functions within the Information Solutions infrastructure domain. The position assists with the development, implementation, and maintenance of end user computing devices; provides proactive and reactive support; and contributes to team and project meetings by suggesting solutions to improve efficiency. The role requires a professional attitude and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma and four years of directly related experience, or a bachelor’s degree and two years of directly related experience, or a master’s degree in a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, customer service, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of end user computing devices.
- Provide proactive and reactive support.
- Participate in team and project meetings.
- Provide input on solutions to improve efficiencies.
- Support MUSC’s academic, research, and healthcare missions through operational, consultative, and collaborative work within the Information Solutions infrastructure domain.
