Our Field Service team provide on the ground support to homes and business around the country. As a Trainee Field Technician, you’ll be a trusted and familiar face in the community, using technology to solve real-world problems while building hands-on skills and experience that set you up to grow your career. About the role As a Field Delivery Telecommunications Trainee, you will work alongside a mentor offering you ongoing coaching, support and mentoring during your traineeship. You will get hands on training while providing our customers with a great experience by activating and assuring telecommunications / technology products and services, in homes and/or businesses. You will actively participate in a diverse team environment to deliver the optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to Telstra's Behaviours & Habits and corporate strategy. We have several positions available around the country. Find the specific locations below. The expectation is to reside in the targeted area or be willing to relocate. Locations: NSW- Forster QLD- Roma, Gatton This is a Fixed-term role for 12 months with opportunity for permanency thereafter. Requirements

  • Hold a current driver's licence.
  • Physically fit for the role.
  • The ability to undergo pre-employment medical and drug alcohol screening.
  • Ability to undertake a police check.
  • Professional and polite communication.

  • Positive attitude and safety-first approach.
  • Be technically minded.

Nice To Haves

  • No prior qualifications needed.
  • Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment undertaken by RTO.
  • Telstra can support you through offering training on Traffic management, Working With Children Check and white card certificates.
