About The Position

This is a vocational career school opportunity for individuals interested in learning a skilled trade in the telecommunications industry. It is particularly suited for active-duty service members, military veterans, or dependents looking to enter the sector. The program emphasizes hands-on learning and problem-solving, with a focus on preparing graduates for careers in telecommunications through introductions to hiring managers. The school offers industry certifications recognized by employers and does not require a degree for entry into the field. Courses are offered throughout the year, with classes held in Tampa, Florida, on a 15-acre campus. The typical training duration is 8 to 10 weeks, with a schedule of 6 days a week, 10 hours a day, comprising 50% hands-on and 50% classroom instruction. Students receive paid flight, lodging, and meals, and retain their Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH). The partner school accepts GI Bill® funds.
