About The Position

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and we are Hiring Now! Earn $15.00 Per Hour. Field Customer Service Representative will act as representatives of Public Storage for our customers. These employees support a designated set of properties by making phone calls to confirm reservations, collection calls, and provide customer support. They provide excellent service by answering customer inquiries regarding company properties, products, and services as well as account inquiries.

Requirements

  • Successful candidates may have prior customer service experience from call centers, hospitality, banking, or in the self-storage industry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask; type while talking and moving from administrative to live calls.
  • Phone and computer proficiency, including Microsoft-based computer programs.
  • Our employees are required to have a valid driver’s license and utilize their own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business. (mileage reimbursement available)

Nice To Haves

  • Skills in languages other than English are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with the highest levels of service and professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction while following Public Storage procedures
  • Engage with customers daily
  • Communicating with existing customers to resolve their rental units and/or payment issues.
  • Initiate and/or answer delinquent customer calls with goal of obtaining full payment.
  • Perform administrative duties including: processing customer move outs, complete multiple property walks, and review property camera footage.
  • Adhere to shift schedule and availability for calls, meetings, and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
