Requirements

8+ relevant years of experience as a Field CTO or related positions.
Deep, current understanding of AI systems security: agents, tools, orchestration, data flow, guardrails, red teaming, evals. Model-layer knowledge alone is not enough.
Working knowledge of how frontier labs buy from and work with vendors.
A track record of turning research into shipped product and revenue at scale.
Credibility in front of frontier-lab researchers.
Comfort as a public technical voice.
Bay Area base, with a live network in the Valley AI and security community.
Fluent working across the Israel time zone.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on with RL post-training, GRPO, agentic environments or eval harness design.
Prior time inside a frontier lab, a research organization, or a vendor selling into one.
Experience being the first senior person on the ground in a new geography.

Responsibilities

Be the technical front line in the Bay Area, acting as the Tier 1 technical voice in client meetings, RFPs, and novel scopes.
Take deep discovery conversations and convert them into scopes that research and delivery can execute.
Own the top and middle of the sales funnel, creating conversations, earning technical wins, and defining partnerships (Sales owns the commercial close).
Handle objections in live technical deep dives with elite engineering and research teams without escalating every time.
Build the frontier-lab community in the Valley by running small, high-signal events with post-training, safety, and security leads from the labs.
Represent Alice at conferences, analyst briefings, technical talks, and joint research initiatives.
Carry market signal back into the company and act on it, working with the CTO to name and push the next needle mover into the roadmap.
Influence the AI Labs pod agenda, AI security research priorities, and product direction directly.
Set the terms for how Alice operates in the Valley, acting as the key person on the ground.
Interview for adjacent roles, help other departments hire locally, and carry the Alice name.
