About The Position

Holder Construction is seeking an MEP Senior Field Coordinator to join their MEP Building Technology team for a project in Franklin Furnace, OH. This is a full-time, in-person role focused on overseeing the coordination and installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems for complex projects. The role involves providing leadership to MEP trade partners and equipment vendors, assisting with scheduling, QA/QC, and safety programs, managing punch lists, troubleshooting field engineering issues, and overseeing start-up and commissioning. Collaboration with project teams from pre-construction through close-out, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, design partners, trade partners, and vendors are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.
  • Proven ability to manage workforce requirements, monitor project progress, and resolve field engineering challenges.
  • Experience managing construction of complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, airports, or other special-use facilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills for managing client and trade partner relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems coordination and installation for complex projects.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to MEP trade partners and equipment vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Assist in developing and tracking schedules, monitoring QA/QC programs, and supporting the Energy Control and Safety Program.
  • Manage punch lists, troubleshoot field engineering issues, and oversee start-up and commissioning activities.
  • Collaborate with project teams from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out to ensure successful delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and design partners while supervising trade partners and vendors.
