About The Position

Are you a motivated student looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry? Auld & White Constructors is looking for Field Interns to join our team. As a field intern, you’ll work alongside experienced construction professionals, gain firsthand experience with the day-to-day operations of a construction project, and contribute to projects throughout Northeast Florida. If you’re passionate about construction, eager to learn, and ready to gain experience that will help launch your career, we’d love to have you on our team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Building Construction Management or a related field
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in commercial construction
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and contribute as part of a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with coordinating daily on-site activities, including subcontractor scheduling, material deliveries, and equipment logistics
• Assist with monitoring construction quality and ensuring work complies with project plans, specifications, and building codes
• Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and other activities that promote a safe working environment
• Assist with documenting project progress through daily logs, photographs, reports, and other project documentation
• Support the Superintendent with coordinating subcontractor activities, addressing issues, and ensuring work is completed according to project requirements
• Participate in meetings with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Assist with communicating project updates, issues, and resolutions to project team members
• Gain exposure to construction practices, project management processes, and industry standards through hands-on experience, training, and mentorship
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
