About The Position

National General is a part of The Allstate Corporation, offering a wide range of insurance products. We are seeking a Field Auto Claims Estimator to support our Kentucky region, specifically candidates located within a 100-mile radius of Springfield, IL, Peoria, IL, and East St. Louis, MO. This role involves inspecting vehicles, evaluating losses, and preparing accurate estimates for auto or specialty lines claims. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CCC ONE estimating software, strong negotiation and time management skills, and a customer-focused approach. Depending on business needs, the role may involve field-based or remote work.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CCC ONE estimating software.
• Strong negotiation skills.

• Currently located within a 100-mile radius of Springfield, IL, Peoria, IL, and East St. Louis, MO.
• Ability to travel throughout the region to support customers.
• Possesses strong estimating fundamentals.
• Deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles, evaluate losses, and prepare accurate, comprehensive estimates for both first- and third-party material damage claims across auto or specialty lines.
• Create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities.
• Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in complex files across multiple lines.
• Evaluate settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Build strong relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines.
