About The Position
We are looking for multiple Field Attendants for our Hadashville site. Our ideal candidates will enjoy working outdoors in a seasonal role, operating machinery to harvest peat. This role requires the ability to work flexible hours depending on the weather. We have local housing available!
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
- Results orientated, self-starter
- Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- Driving experience preferred
- Operating a tractor considered an asset
- Prior field/ harvesting experience considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Responsible for harvesting peat in our fields at our Deer Lake site
- Operate a tractor or a vacuum harvester
- Responsible for general and preventive maintenance of the equipment
