About The Position
Michels Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Assistant in Minnesota for a full-time, seasonal position that requires travel. The role supports natural gas main and service installation by collecting and documenting information for customers, including maps, records, and materials. The Field Assistant also assists crew members with non-labor-related tasks. Success in this role requires a willingness to learn, take direction, and communicate effectively. The expected salary range is $23–$28.50 USD; actual pay may vary based on location and individual qualifications and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Proficiency with Adobe platforms.
- A valid driver’s license for the type(s) of vehicles that may be driven and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel throughout Minnesota.
- Willingness to learn and take direction, and effective communication skills.

- Experience with GIS platforms.
