About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding Field Applications Engineer (FAE) with a focus on datacenter system and network design for AI computing. This role is for a specialist in system design, networking, and a leader to our customers who believe that artificial intelligence is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform the industry. Your primary responsibilities will be onsite technical engagement for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems. Your role will involve working across functions within our organizations while also ensuring a positive experience for external customers.

Requirements

BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware.
Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.
Ability to multitask effectively in a multifaceted environment.
Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very sophisticated projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.

Nice To Haves

Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
Networking knowledge -- TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.
C/C++ and Python programming skills.
Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
Experience working with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing space.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
Solve complex hardware and deployment issues.
Act as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, directly supporting sales account managers and working closely with the team to deliver outstanding AI datacenter solutions.
Establish the technical relationship with our customer’s engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.
Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market.
Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.
