About The Position
Siemens EDA, a global leader in semiconductor design software, is seeking a customer-focused Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support its PowerPro platform for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization. You will work closely with leading semiconductor customers to drive successful evaluations, deployments, and adoption of PowerPro, while collaborating with sales, R&D, and product teams.
Requirements
- Strong RTL design experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL)
- Knowledge of digital design, synthesis, and verification flows
- Experience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologies
- Scripting skills (Tcl, Python)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- BS/MS in EE, CS, or related field
Nice To Haves
- Experience with power tools (e.g., PrimePower, PowerArtist, or similar)
- Knowledge of low-power methodologies (UPF/CPF)
- Customer-facing experience (FAE/AE)
- Exposure to advanced SoC designs and nodes
- Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and workflows (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI APIs, or agent frameworks) to improve productivity and debug efficiency
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops
- Lead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins
- Support deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training
- Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to influence product enhancements
