About The Position

Bragi is seeking a Shenzhen-based Field Application Engineer to act as the technical bridge between Bragi, its partners, and customers in the Chinese market. This role will support the Shenzhen Sales team by assisting customers in successfully evaluating, integrating, testing, and launching Bragi's technologies. The focus will be on embedded firmware integration, Bluetooth/audio behavior, connected devices, and providing customer-facing technical support. This is a remote role based in Shenzhen, China.

Requirements

  • Experience in Field Application Engineering, Technical Support, Customer Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong experience with embedded systems or firmware integration.
  • Good understanding of Bluetooth, BLE, audio products, hearables, wearables, or connected consumer devices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including issue reproduction, root-cause analysis, debugging, documentation, and escalation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain complex topics in a practical, customer-friendly way.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable handling urgent customer issues and multiple priorities independently.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English, both spoken and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Jieli / JLI, Qualcomm, Bluetrum, or similar chipset platforms.
  • Experience with hardware debugging tools, protocol analyzers, or simulation tools.
  • Experience with mobile app or mobile application integration.
  • Background in consumer electronics, audio devices, semiconductor platforms, or Shenzhen-based hardware supply chains.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers and partners during product evaluation, integration, development, testing, and production.
  • Provide technical guidance for embedded firmware/SDK integration, Bluetooth connectivity, audio features, and connected device behavior.
  • Reproduce, debug, document, and handle/escalate customer issues within the organization.
  • Work closely with sales teams to support customer discussions, design-in activities, and new business opportunities.
  • Manage customer samples, collect technical feedback, and share insights with internal product and engineering teams.
  • Review and support customer-facing technical documentation, integration guides, specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts when needed.
  • Travel for on-site customer support when required.
