About The Position

Lightspeed is seeking Field Sales Account Executives in Marseille to join their new Field Sales Team Lead. The role involves building a high-performing team and implementing a strategy that requires a physical presence in Marseille. The Field Sales Account Executive will actively drive the entire sales cycle each month, from lead generation to closing deals. The mission is to expand market presence, boost regional performance, and contribute to Lightspeed's long-term impact in this key market.

Requirements

  • Relevant sales experience in a field and prospecting environment, preferably in selling solutions/technology.
  • A good understanding of business development best practices.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and optimally.
  • Excellent customer service and phone communication skills, including strong listening, speaking, and writing abilities.
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets.
  • A love for numbers: a quantitative approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in French and English.
  • An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a bias for action, and the ability to pivot when necessary to meet company needs and objectives.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Transform prospects into satisfied customers through in-person sales methods like door-to-door, cold calling, and presentations.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying and developing prospects to meeting clients, creating value propositions, structuring financial deals, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
  • Visit clients regularly to identify their challenges and pain points.
  • Conduct in-person product demonstrations for retail.
  • Analyze, report on, and take action on pipeline metrics.
  • Drive performance to consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Create new opportunities through networking events.
