Field ABA Technician (Part-Time)
About The Position
Therapy Smarts is seeking a compassionate, dedicated part-time Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-to-one pediatric ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder in community settings. The field-based role serves young learners in natural educational and social environments, including schools, daycares, and Head Start programs, with clinic sessions as needed. The technician collaborates with educators and supervising BCBAs/QBAs to support behavioral growth and skill development. The schedule is Monday through Friday, typically during school hours of 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with no weekends. Therapy Smarts describes the role as offering exceptional earnings potential, supervision and mentorship, and opportunities for growth into leadership and management. Office staff provide intake, billing, and support, while the technician focuses on treatment and documentation. The company also provides report templates and a web-based electronic documentation system.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one services to children diagnosed with ASD in community settings.
- Implement interventions and procedures specified in treatment and behavior plans designed by a BCBA/QBA.
- Collect accurate, thorough data to track progress and support the medical necessity of intensive services.
- Participate in supervision sessions with the BCBA/QBA.
- Help organize learning materials, visual schedules, and reinforcement items for community and school sessions.
- Communicate professionally with educational staff, daycare providers, and parents to support consistency and home/school carryover.
- Complete treatment documentation.
