ABA Behavior Technician III - Part Time Only
About The Position
Intercept Health is hiring an ABA Behavior Technician III for its center-based program. The role provides direct behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental disabilities, promoting language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills. The technician is responsible for program development for 4–8 clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position is part-time only and pays $26 per hour for direct work and $18 per hour for indirect work. Requirements
- At least a high school diploma.
- Experience working with children.
- Must be in or have completed an approved course sequence for ABA.
- Must have a signed contract with Intercept supervisors for fieldwork hours.
- Must possess a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential and be in good standing, or successfully complete a 40-hour class, competency assessment, and exam to become an RBT within 2 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science such as psychology, sociology, counseling, or applied behavioral science.
- Specific experience with children who have autism, intellectual disabilities, or developmental disabilities, or prior ABA experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental disabilities.
- Promote clients’ language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.
- Develop programs for 4–8 clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
