About The Position

Pentair is hiring a Fiberglass Molder/Assembly Operator for its Sanford, North Carolina team. The role performs molding, assembly, testing, and packing processes for products in the fiberglass cell for water filtration systems. This is a full-time, second-shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 1:15 a.m., with overtime and weekend work if needed. The anticipated base pay is $17.00 per hour plus an 8% shift premium; actual compensation may vary based on experience, training, education, certifications, location, and business needs.

Requirements

Ability to assemble a product using provided tools.
Ability to operate a tester and properly use lifting devices.
Ability to follow the rotation schedule for molding and assembly processes.
Ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, and lift and lower weights up to 50 pounds.
Steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Responsibilities

Make fiberglass layups throughout the shift and load them into molds.
Weigh fiberglass tanks and check them for quality.
Troubleshoot problems and identify possible causes.
Assemble products using provided tools.
Operate a tester and properly use lifting devices.
Follow the rotation schedule for molding and assembly processes.
Perform molding, assembly, testing, and packing processes for fiberglass-cell products.
