About The Position

Forest River, Inc., the Nation’s largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses and Boats has an immediate opening for a Fiberglass Chopper Operator. This role involves operating the Fiberglass Chopper System from start up to tear down in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience using the Chopper system to spray fiberglass onto molds, ensuring accurate and uniform material thickness that conforms to specifications. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance such as cleaning chop guns, clearing clogs, and performing routine upkeep on fluid lines and cutters. The operator must also maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, properly disposing of hazardous materials and wearing necessary personal protective equipment (respirators, gloves). A strong understanding and adherence to all safety and quality standards, including chemical handling, is essential. The ability to follow verbal and written directions is also required. Requirements

  • Experience using Chopper system to spray fiberglass onto molds.
  • Experience with equipment maintenance (cleaning chop guns, clearing clogs, upkeep on fluid lines and cutters).
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Ability to properly dispose of hazardous materials.
  • Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (respirators, gloves).

  • Experience in the Industry.
  • Experience in other Manufacturing Processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operating Fiberglass Chopper System from start up to tear down.
  • Spraying fiberglass onto molds using the Chopper system.
