About The Position
Price Chopper/Market 32 Supermarkets is accepting applications for future part-time openings across various departments. While most hiring occurs in the front end and night crew, individuals with relevant experience may be hired into other departments. The company has a history of promoting from within and posts all full-time positions internally, offering the potential for a long career for driven and motivated individuals. Applicants can specify up to three departments of interest or select 'any department.' Applications are reviewed as hiring needs arise, and selected candidates will be contacted for an interview via phone or email. Unselected candidates will be notified via email.
Requirements
- Must be reliable and honest.

- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.

- Previous experience in specific departments (e.g., Pharmacy for Registered Pharmacists or Pharmacy students).
Responsibilities
- Provide Six-Star Service on the Front End.
- Prepare homemade artisan breads in the Bakery.
- Fill prescriptions, offer health counseling, and provide efficient service in the Pharmacy (for Registered Pharmacists or Pharmacy students).
- Assist customers with floral orders, advise on plants, and utilize online ordering systems in the Floral department.
- Slice meats, prepare salads, and make sandwiches in the Deli/Food Service department.
- Stock and merchandise general merchandise, including non-food items and seasonal products.
- Stock shelves, merchandise products, and create attractive displays in the Grocery department.
- Provide high-quality fresh meat cuts in the Meat department.
- Educate customers about produce and assist with a variety of fruits, vegetables, and organic options in the Produce department.
- Assist customers with fresh seafood selections, provide preparation advice, and offer seafood from local and international sources in the Seafood department.
