About The Position

Zero dB Communications (ZdB) is seeking full-time Fiber Optic Splicers for evening roles focused on metro and commercial fiber work. These positions involve fiber splicing and testing only. The role requires rotating on-call coverage for emergency response operations and offers strong growth potential. While primarily based in Cheyenne, WY, the positions will also support the Denver, CO location as needed. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• 1+ year of fiber optic field experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license meeting company safety standards
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft applications)
• Understanding of technology-based services, products, and networking
• Ability to meet physical demands: climb ladders, work in confined spaces/heights, lift 75 lbs., squat, kneel, bend, crawl, and stand for long periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Self-starter with a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred
• General knowledge of residential/commercial construction
• Lead/foreman experience
