About The Position

Zero dB Communications (ZdB) is a rapidly growing full-turnkey fiber optic contractor on the West Coast, established in 2011. We specialize in high-quality design, engineering, construction, splicing, and testing across the western United States. Our team possesses extensive OSP experience, enabling us to build robust networks for various applications including FTTH, Metro-E, long-haul P2P, data center builds, and emergency response. We are known for our precision, reliability, and ability to handle complex fiber challenges. We are seeking individuals to join our team and contribute to building the future of fiber.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• 1+ year of fiber optic field experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company safety standards (CDL preferred).
• General knowledge of residential/commercial construction; lead/foreman experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft applications).
• Understanding of technology-based services, products, and networking.
• Ability to meet physical demands: climb ladders, work in confined spaces/heights, lift 75 lbs., squat, kneel, bend, crawl, and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Must pass a pre-employment screen, including a drug test and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred.
• Lead/foreman experience a plus.
