About The Position

This position installs fiber-optic infrastructure at various work locations throughout Oregon. The work involves four 10-hour days on the road, with travel home on weekends most weeks. The position is based on the road and includes operating digging and trenching equipment.

Requirements

• Experience operating heavy equipment is required.

Nice To Haves

• A CDL is desired but not required.
• Utility construction experience is desired.
• Willingness to travel 50% is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Place and maintain cable within underground conduit systems.
• Maintain rights-of-way, including patching roadways and backfilling areas.
• Install and remove aerial cable.
• Install and maintain pedestals, poles, carrier sites, and equipment at subscriber locations.
• Operate and maintain digging and trenching equipment.
