About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Fiber Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have previous fiber laser operating experience and be skilled in producing high-quality precision metal parts while maintaining safety, efficiency, and production standards. If you have experience operating fiber laser cutting equipment and take pride in producing quality work, we encourage you to apply. As a Fiber Laser Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating fiber laser cutting machines to produce precision metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. The Fiber Laser Operator will monitor machine performance, inspect finished parts for quality, and perform routine machine adjustments as needed. The successful Fiber Laser Operator will ensure production schedules are met while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Previous Fiber Laser Operator experience is required, including the ability to read blueprints, perform machine setups, and use precision measuring tools. Requirements

  • Previous Fiber Laser Operator experience is required.
  • Experience setting up and operating fiber laser cutting machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate fiber laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
  • Load and unload raw materials onto the machine.
  • Monitor cutting operations and make adjustments to maintain quality.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain production records and report any quality concerns.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals.
